Hip, for the moment
As a working mom, it's hard to keep your finger on the pulse of internet pop culture. In the tiny bit of free personal time I have, I usually have my nose in a book, and since the book is presently a trilogy concerning a woman in 14th century Norway, I probably couldn't get any more un-connected. In comes my trusty friend Mel M, uber-connected in all things media! Mel has intoduced me to such web gems as Dr. Horribles Sing-along blog, In The Motherhood, and most recently, Sarah Silvermans The Great Shlep. I want to have Jewish grandparents in Florida just so I can be a part of this. You might want to earmuff the kids before you watch this, Sarah's got a mouth. I'm getting onto Netflix next to add her one-woman show, "Jesus is Magic". As Jaya says, "You've gotta queue it."
