Pre 'burbs & motherhood, church ladies baking pies would hardly have fit into my idea of a great weekend, but I now think longingly all year about the Framingham Pies on the Common Festival. I'm an Engel, and we Engels like pie. And this is like pie paradise, with a bunch of kids activities thrown in, so everyones happy. This year I bought pumpkin, pumpkin & walnut, apple crumb, maple walnut banana bread, and chocolate pumpkin bread. So I'm good, for a few weeks at least.
