Buying presents for children has become a minefield. Does the paint have lead? Are there pthalates in the plastic? Are there any small magnetic pieces my children might ingest that will migrate towards each other in their lower GI tract to create an impassable metallic lump? And if it somehow does manage to pass safety inspection, will it not promote violence, gender stereotyping, repetitve motion, or mindless consumerism or battery use?? Don't give up, Santas helpers! A word to the Etsy uninitiated. I advise having a big ol' chunk of web time before you visit. It will suck you in.
