Annikas turn

Looking over my recent posts I see there is a sad lack of reference to number two. It's not that I love her any less, but let's be frank. 4.5 is a lot more interesting than 17 mths, and this particular 17 month old, while supremely sweet, has yet to do a whole heck of a lot. But, let us give her her moment on the blog.
New Things Annika is Doing!
- saying "wawa" for waffle
- "wooh" for woof
- miming "more", and this is most usually when reading books
- identifying her body parts, although eyes and ears get mixed up, but we'll give her a break on that one since they sound similar
- identifying animals in books
- cruising. Let this be the only time in my life I am enthusiastic about my daughter cruising.
- best of all, finally saying "mama", although it's kind of a half-hearted "eh-mah" and nothing like the bright and cheery "DADA!".

Eli didn't say anything except for "Daddy!" for months and months, and when he finally started calling me by name (at, what? 22 months?) he called me "Bobby."
