December 1st is always kind of a melancholy day for me. One the one hand, we're officially in the start of the holiday season, lots of fun there. But on the other, I have to give up clinging to the belief we're still at the "end" of fall and accept that it is officially winter, and yes, I will have to get through another long bout of FebruraythroughMay-itis, and that June is like a teeny little speck of light at the end of a dark & stuffy-nosed tunnel.
But, before it all gets too hopeless, there is still Christmas cookie season before us!
