The dinosaurs are dead. Long live the dinosaurs.
This morning, the inevitable occured. Jaya announced that he does not like dinosaurs anymore. And for all my eye-rolling through the Colossal Book of Dinosaurs for the zillionth time, I felt a little pang. I'm kind of going to miss them. His new interest? Birds. Go figure.

Well that's evolution for you!
I would take Birds. We are in the throws of Star Wars and all things Star Wars. Occasionally he goes back to the dinos, but just when I thought they were dead (again) Ali became interested in them. So as they say in Monty Python, "I'm not dead yet!"
This is so shocking! Did it really happen just like that, or was there warning? Henry digs birds also, but if anything his dino love has gotten more intense lately. Maybe he's picking up Jaya's slack.
